This is established recently on the advice of the Government of Tamilnadu. When students and Public give representations to the Hon’ble Chief Minister the same are forwarded to the University for immediate further action. The University takes suitable action/gives replies and the same information is submitted to the chief Minister’s cell for reference. The University has appointed a Nodal Officer for this Cell. Every month the Chief Minister’s Cell invites Nodal Officers for reconciliation and review of the progress in this regard. Engineering colleges are typically required to appoint a Nodal Officer for the University CM (Chief Minister) Cell, especially in Tamil Nadu. This role facilitates communication between the university, the college, and the CM Cell, ensuring smooth coordination and addressing grievances or tasks assigned by the state government.
