About

Christ the King Engineering College (CKEC) on 18th September 2021 (Saturday) inaugurated an Intellectual Property Right (IPR) Cell. The cell will create awareness to students and staffs on the five types of intellectual property rights namely

Vision:

To foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship by promoting intellectual property rights (IPR) awareness, protection, and commercialization within the academic and research community, empowering students and faculty to transform their ideas into valuable assets for societal and industrial advancement.

Mission:
  • To educate and create awareness about the significance of intellectual property rights among students, faculty, and staff.
  • To support and guide inventors in identifying, protecting, and managing their intellectual property.
  • To facilitate patent filing, trademark registration, and other IPR-related activities, in collaboration with legal and industrial experts.
  • To encourage innovation and creativity by organizing workshops, seminars, and training programs on IPR and related topics.
  • To bridge the gap between academic research and industry through partnerships, fostering the commercialization of intellectual property generated by the institution.
