ABOUT CENTRAL LIBRARY

The Central Library of the Institution is located on the ground floor of the college, covering anarea of 368 square meters and offering a seating capacity for 60 individuals. Its primary aim is the conservation and preservation of knowledge. The library boasts a collection of the latestbooks and e-journals in engineering, science, and humanities, along with daily newspapers and magazines. It is fully automated, ensuring efficient management and regular updates to maintainits resources.

    Undergraduate Students:

    Books Allowed: 3 books
    Loan Period: 15 days

    Teaching Staff:

    Books Allowed: 5 books
    Loan Period: 30 days

    Non-Teaching Staff:

    Books Allowed: 3 books
    Loan Period: 30 days

    GUIDELINES TO STUDENTS


    Library Rules and Regulations


    1.Gate Register: Every time you visit the library, enter your name and time (In/Out) in the gate register.
    2.ID Card: Always carry your ID card.
    3.Silence: Maintain silence inside the library.
    4.Allowed Items: Only blank sheets are allowed inside the library (notebooks and bags are not allowed).
    5.Personal Belongings: Personal books and costly items are not permitted.
    6.Book Care: Do not mark books and periodicals with pen or pencil. If found marking, you will need to replace the item with a new one.
    7.Lost Books: Replace lost books with new ones of the same edition or an updated edition, not second-hand books.
    8.Borrowing Rules: Do not borrow books using someone else’s ID card; doing so will result in your account being blocked.
    9.Personal Belongings: Keep your personal belongings on the entrance desk.
    10.Entrance Conduct: Avoid crowding at the entrance.
    11.Newspapers and Magazines: Do not tear or cut newspapers and magazines; violators will have their accounts blocked.
    12.Section Discipline: Avoid moving books from one section to another.
    13.Fine : A Fine of Rs.5/-per day per book will be charged on expiry of return date.
