1. Furnishing support services to SC/ST students to promote their academic achievement and personal growth.
2. Providing counselling and mentorship tailored to address the distinct challenges and issues encountered by SC/ST students.
3. Identifying and facilitating opportunities for financial aid, scholarships, and tuition fee exemptions for SC/ST students.
4. Guiding eligible students in availing government-sponsored scholarships and financial assistance programs.
5. Conducting awareness campaigns to educate the broader student body, faculty, and staff about the challenges and concerns specific to SC/ST students.
6. Instituting mentorship initiatives where SC/ST students can benefit from guidance and assistance from experienced peers, faculty, or alumni.
7. Partnering with academic departments to pinpoint and tackle academic hurdles faced by SC/ST students.
8. Offering a forum for SC/ST students to articulate their issues and grievances.
9. Implementing an efficient and confidential mechanism for addressing grievances.
10. Delivering career counseling and insights to SC/ST students, aiding them in making well-informed choices regarding their educational and career trajectories.
11. Championing the inclusion of SC/ST students in leadership and representative roles.
12. Compiling regular updates and reports on the initiatives and activities undertaken by the SC/ST Student Welfare Committee.
13. Collaborating with governmental bodies, NGOs, and external entities to secure additional resources and assistance for SC/ST students.
