Governing Council of Committee

Roles and Responsibilities:

In addition to serving as the college's ultimate administrative body, the Governing Council shall also have the following supplementary responsibilities:
1.To formulate and assess policies concerning academic standards, admissions, faculty recruitment, student affairs, and other pertinent areas.
2.To guarantee that the policies are in accordance with the mission and objectives of the engineering college.
3.Evaluate the efficacy of current strategies and suggest new ones as required.
4.Examine and authorize the annual budget.
5.Assess the performance of senior leadership and provide suggestions for enhancement or renewal.
6.Distribute resources, including funding, faculty roles, and infrastructure, according to the college's priorities and requirements.
7.Oversee and evaluate the caliber of educational and research initiatives.
8.Establish systems for ongoing enhancement.
9.Examine reports from different departments and committees within the institution.
10.Offer direction and respond to suggestions.
11.Recognize and analyze potential risks to the college, devising plans to address them.
